Description

So, I finally got around to doing this one. Literally did the whole thing in just two days. Not sure if I spent enough time on the shading... Or anything else

------------------------------------

Name: U.S.S. Normandy NSR-2

Franchise: Star Trek

Type: Normandy-Class Corvette

Faction: United Federation of Planets

Dimensions:
Length: 400 Meters
Width: 173 Meters
Height/depth: 51 Meters

Structural Layout: Similar to the SR-71 ‘Blackbird”, with 4 warp nacelles on triangular pylons(2 structural weak points)

Offensive:
4x Axially-mounted Phaser Cannons
9x Type-X phaser arrays: Each capable of striking with 5.1x10^6 megawatts
3x Photon Torpedo Launchers: Each photon torpedo has a yield of 2.7x10^17 Joules. 1.08x10^18 Joules can be deployed in a single salvo
3x Quantum Torpedo Launchers
2x Mass Drivers: The first kinetic nergy weapons used by the UFP in a very long time. Each weapon launches 1 30 kilogram duranium at 40% of light speed at a rate of one round every 5 seconds. They impact with a force of 12.57x10^17 joules, or 51.6 megatons. While their yield is slightly less than that of a photon torpedo, it is significantly more affective against the Borg, as they are limited in their ability to adapt to kinetic energy weapons

Defensive:
Deflector Shields with Dual Main Deflector Dishes
26x Point-Defense Photon mASERs
Cloaking device

Sublight: Impulse Drive

FTL: Warp Drive

Power Plant: Warp Core (significantly less volatile than that of the Enterprise)

Extra:
Like the Defiant-Class Escort, this ship was developed to combat the Borg. It's about as affective as you might think
It was named “Normandy” because the original proposition of “Commander Shepard's Mothafuckin' Pimp Hand” wouldn't fit on the plaque... Or the front of the ship

That is a cool mash-up. Well done.
